How to create labels and print them

This guide will assist you in creating and printing label. Please note that the illustrations and software interfaces may differ slightly from what you see on your screen, but they should guide you through the relevant steps effectively.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS GUIDE IS SPECIFIC TO AVERY BRAND LABELS AND SHOULD WORK FOR ALL AVERY BRAND LABELS BUT USERS MIGHT NEED TO SELECT CORRECT LABELS

 

Pre-requisites:

  • Label Paper (in our case we will use Avery L4731REV labels)

Guide:

  1. Go to Design & Print Template Software | Avery.
  2. Click "Start Design & Print".
  3. Type "L4731REV" in the search box, then press enter.
  4. Select the first design.
  5. Before you go ahead and customise the labels, on your right-hand side, you will find the "Navigator"; ensure it is set to "Edit All".

    If you want to just edit one, select "Edit One", then select which label you want to edit by clicking on it.
  6. On your left-hand side, you will find "Text" click it then click "Add Text Box".
  7. Highlight the text you wish to edit and edit the text and then use the left-hand side panel to edit the font, size, colour and etc...
  8. You can use the control panel at the top align the text or you can manually do it by clicking and holding down on the outline of text box.
  9. Once you done you click "Preview & Print" in the bottom right corner.
  10. Preview your labels if all looks good click "Save" in the top right corner.


  11. Click "Download PDF File".
  12. Open the PDF file, Once opened press on your keyboard "shift + ctrl + P"; the printing menu will pop up. Please select the correct printer in our case we use Epson99ED86.
  13. Select "Preferences".
  14. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR PREFERENCES MENU MAY LOOK DIFFERENT AND YOU MAY NEED TO LOOK FOR THE SETTINGS HIGHLIGHTED.
    Under "Paper/Quality" find "Media" and change it to "Labels" and change "Paper Source" to "Tray 1".
  15. Press "OK".
  16. Press "Print".
